April 2, 2019, General Municipal Election

The City Clerk will be mailing ballot packets for the April 2, 2019 General Municipal Election to registered active voters who reside within the corporate boundaries of the City of Colorado Springs on Friday, March 8, 2019. If you do not receive your ballot packet by March 13, 2019, please contact the City Clerk’s Office. The April 2, 2019 election is an all-mail ballot election only. City elections have been mail ballot only since 2005.

What’s on the April 2, 2019 Ballot?

Elected positions on the April 2, 2019 ballot will include Mayor, three At-Large City Council seats, and one ballot issue. Each voter may select one candidate for Mayor and three candidates for the At-Large City Council on their ballot.

Ballot drop-off sites

Ballots may be dropped off at all drop-off locations beginning March 8, 2019. Ballots must be received (not just postmarked) by the City Clerk’s Office or designated drop-off site by 7:00 p.m. on election night, Tuesday, April 2, 2019. We highly encourage you to drop-off your ballot in one of our many 27/7 ballot drop-off boxes across the city. However, if you choose to mail your ballot, please affix proper postage and allow at least 7 days transit time to be received by the City Clerk’s Office by the deadline.
