Crimes that CAN be Reported Online:

  • Telephone harassment
  • Identity Theft
  • Theft or stolen property
  • Theft of license plates
  • Stolen Bikes
  • Motor Vehicle Break in and Theft
  • Hit and Run (with no names suspect or plate information)
  • Vehicle tampering or intentional damage
  • Vandalism or Graffiti
  • Lost Property
  • Abandon Vehicles
  • Drug Activity or anonymous tips
  • Supplemental information (must have your case number)

Crimes that CANNOT be Reported Online

  • Crimes in progress (call 911)
  •  Violent crimes (Homicide, Assault, sexual assaults, child abuse, etc.)
  • Incidents with a known suspect
  • Robbery- You have been physically and forcably assaulted
  • Stalking 
  • Threats to you or your family
  • Domestic Violence
  • Hate crimes
  • Crimes that have occurred outside of Colorado Springs (except for ID theft)
