COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –   The March 22 town hall meeting on the proposed Amended Annexation Agreement for Banning Lewis Ranch has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 11, from 6-7:30 p.m.. The meeting will be held at the Pikes Peak Regional Development Center Hearing Room.

The meeting has been rescheduled to allow sufficient time for members of the interested public to review the proposal. The updated proposal is expected to be released by close of business Friday, March 30, via the city’s website.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Registration is now open for the 7th annual Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament, which will be played Wednesday, May 23 at The Broadmoor Golf Club’s West Course. All tournament proceeds will benefit the City’s Spirit of the Springs initiatives, which aim to cultivate future city government leadership and encourage citizen involvement, as well as The First Tee of Pikes Peak.

Lane closures on Woodmen Road and Union Boulevard Friday night through Monday morning

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo— The public is invited to participate in a “Trash Mob” cleanup along a portion of Sand Creek alongside more than 100 Colorado Springs Girl Scouts as part of World Thinking Day Saturday, March 17.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- Woodmen Road has been reduced to two through lanes in each direction between east of Academy Boulevard and Lexington Drive through the remainder of the project, estimated to end in May.  One through lane, both eastbound and westbound, will be closed 24/7 for the safe performance of concrete work. The closed lane may either be the inside or outside through lane, depending on the work needed.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Beginning  Saturday, through the end of May, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Pikes Peak Avenue from Hancock Avenue to Union Boulevard to facilitate the installation of a new waterline.
