Unpaid Internship Program - Law Students
The City Attorney’s Office offers unpaid internships for one or two law school students per semester/ term. Ideal candidates should consider a commitment of 40 – 200 work hours per semester/ term. Open for first, second, or third-year law school students. Flexible schedule to accommodate class schedules, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Interns may work in one or more of the City Attorney’s Office four divisions, which include Corporate, Utilities, Prosecution and Litigation/Employment.
Deadlines to apply:
- Fall semester / August 15th
- Spring semester / December 15th
- Summer term / March 31st
Qualifications
Interns must be in their first, second or third year of law school, and successfully complete a criminal background check and fingerprint check. Preference for those certified under the Student Practice Act.
