City Councilmember Yolanda Avila invites the public to attend a community Town Hall to discuss issues impacting City Council District Four and Southeast Colorado Springs. The Town Hall will be on Saturday, October 9 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the Sand Creek Library.
The Sand Creek Library is located near South Academy Boulevard and Chelton Road. Some topics of discussion will include Affordable Housing and South Academy Reconstruction. There will be representatives from the City’s Community Development Division and City Staff to help answer questions. The format will allow for open dialogue between attendees, the elected officials and City staff.
