The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) has announced that American Airlines will resume nonstop service to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) on June 5, 2025. Tickets for this service are now available for purchase.

“American Airlines continues to be an amazing partner, and we could not be happier to welcome back such crucial service to our community,” said Greg Phillips, Director of Aviation for COS. “This service is a win for the airport and our city.”

Prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, American Airlines provided service to ORD and has continued to operate nonstop flights to another prominent hub, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), from COS. The daily flights on dual-class regional jets to Chicago will significantly improve accessibility for business and leisure travelers, allowing greater convenience in reaching one of America's largest cities.

“American is pleased to offer nonstop service from Colorado Springs to our Chicago O’Hare hub,” said Jordan Pack, American’s Director of Domestic Network Planning. “Complementing existing service to Dallas/Fort Worth, this new service will offer customers convenient connections and shorter travel times on American to cities across the Midwest, Northeast, and abroad to destinations in Europe including Barcelona and Italy’s Amalfi Coast.”

Travelers can book their trip to the Windy City now at www.aa.com or through American’s mobile app.
