On April 13, 2023, the Colorado Springs Police Department’s Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force arrested Eric Felix for the murder of Ricky Keiser, which occurred on November 7, 2022. On Monday, November 7, 2022, at approximately 3:06 am, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) Communication Center received a call for service regarding a possible dead body near S Union Bl and the MLK Bypass. Officers responded to the area and located a deceased adult male. Based on the obvious trauma and external injuries, detectives from the Homicide / Assault Unit responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation.
