The Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department invites community members to attend an open house to learn about plans for a new mountain bike pump track and skills trail in Cresta Open Space, which is located on Cresta Road, near Cheyenne Mountain High School. The open house is from 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 at Skyway Elementary School.

Residents will be able to view maps, speak with city staff, and offer feedback on the trails. Project partner representatives from Cheyenne Mountain Cycling Club, Kids on Bikes, and Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates will also be present to answer questions.

Construction on the project is expected to begin this summer. It is a recommendation of the North Cheyenne CaƱon master and management plan.
