Welcome to the city of Colorado Springs Golf Division! The city courses comprise 27-hole and 18-hole regulation layouts that are open to the public year-round. Our rolling greens are professionally maintained, customer service is top-notch, and the overall experience is a great value. All levels of players are welcome. We offer lessons from our PGA professionals to include private, group, and ladies Get Golf Ready.  We are also happy to host your golf tournament, leagues, or events. 

Patty Jewett and Valley Hi golf courses operate as separate enterprises of the City of Colorado Springs within the Golf Enterprise Division. Each course is self-supporting with all revenues derived solely from user fees, and revenue cannot be shared between golf courses. The golf courses receive no sales tax or property tax support from the City of Colorado Springs.  

Patty Jewett Golf Course

Patty Jewett Golf Course was built in 1898 and is one of the oldest continuous operating public golf course west of the Mississippi, and it has been city-owned since 1919. The entrance sets the elegant mood, complete with its unique, old wrought-iron gate and a drive down a narrow road lined with a canopy of 100-year-old trees. The course boasts spectacular views of Pikes Peak and the front range. The 18-hole course is a par 72 and can challenge even the most experienced golfer. A separate 9-hole par 36 course is also available.

To complete the experience, stop in at the Patty Jewett Bar & Grill for a refreshing drink and a meal while taking in the grand view of Pikes Peak. Banquets are available.

Valley Hi Golf Course

Valley HI Golf Course offers a magnificent scenic view of Pikes Peak and Cheyenne Mountain. It was constructed in 1956 as a private club and purchased by the city in 1975. The 18-hole, par 71 course offers some of the best manicured greens in the area. The course appears flat but features a few well-placed bunkers and lakes to add to the fun. This easily walkable, traditional design offers challenges for all ability levels. Leagues and tournaments events are welcome.

After a round of golf or a lesson, the restaurant is open year-round for cool drinks and a bite to eat and for enjoying the amazing view and sunsets from the patio and dining room.
