Youth Soccer in Colorado Springs is the perfect way for kids to learn and enjoy one of the world’s most popular sports. Soccer is a dynamic game that promotes teamwork, coordination, and fitness while teaching essential skills like passing, dribbling, and goal scoring. Our program emphasizes fun, fundamentals, and sportsmanship in a positive, non-competitive environment where every child can thrive. With divisions for players of all ages and coed options, there’s a team for everyone to join and enjoy the beautiful game.

Free Youth Soccer Registration
Each season, a limited number of registration fees are waived for kids in PreK through 2nd grade at parks across the city. These free spots are allocated to each park for these age groups and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis when registration opens.
There are no income or other eligibility requirements for players in the selected age groups to receive a free spot. The program is open to everyone. However, if your family does not need free registration, we invite you to select the paid option and/or donate to the Helping Hands Fund. The goal of this program is to remove the financial barrier to participation so all kids can benefit from playing youth sports.
- 2025 Spring Soccer: All free spots are currently full.
- 2025 Fall Soccer: 180 free spots available. Registration Opens on May 12, 2025.

Divisions
Following Colorado school age guidelines, PRCS division breakdown is based on October 1 of the current calendar year. Parents should register their child based on the grade they are entering this Fall.
Changing to a different division based on grade is not recommended. A child may move up one grade level only if the parent signs a waiver acknowledging that they are aware their child may be playing with children up to two years older. A player may move down one grade level by providing a signed statement from a physician describing a condition or disability that would prevent the child from playing within his/her division. Note: The medical statement must be submitted to the PRCS Sports Office for approval. If a child is held back a grade, a letter from the school will need to be provided with the registration. Players may not waive into the program.
