The City's traffic cameras are intended to provide motorists with continual information concerning the traffic flow and incidents on highways and city streets.
When viewing the map, click on any of the camera icons to see a snapshot and location. Snapshots are taken approximately every two minutes.
You can also search the map by using the search bar.
Traffic flow is also indicated on the map using the following color codes:
- Green (fast): 85 - 100% of free flow speeds
- Yellow (moderate): 65 - 85%
- Orange (slow); 45 - 65%
- Red (stop and go): 0 - 45%
Note * Traffic speeds are displayed as a percentage of free-flow speeds, which is frequently the speed limit or how fast cars tend to travel when unencumbered by other vehicles.
Traffic incidents are designated by a red dot or a red and yellow dot in the location of the incident. To learn more about what's going on there, click on the dot.
