COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Beginning Monday, Feb. 5 through mid-April, Pikes Peak Avenue from Iowa Avenue to the intersection of Printers Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction while crews perform utility work. Normal work hours are Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The City’s Planning & Community Development Department will hold a public meeting on the revitalization of the City’s 1993 Historic Preservation Plan on Wednesday, Feb. 6. The meeting will be held at the City Auditorium and is intended to solicit and engage conversation from all facets of the community.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Several traffic improvements are underway in the Old/Near North End neighborhoods following a series of public meetings designed to address transportation and safety concerns expressed by residents.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Beginning 7 p.m. Tuesday, until 5 a.m. Wednesday, motorists can expect 10-15 minute delays at the intersection of Woodmen Road and Lexington Drive while crews dismantle the temporary traffic signals and activate the permanent new signals.

Public input is requested on a proposed trail system for North Cheyenne Cañon Park at an upcoming community workshop. The trail system will ultimately be part of an updated master and management plan for the park.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Beginning Monday, the right lane of southbound Academy Boulevard will be closed from south of York Road to the bridge over Cottonwood Creek.  The closure is necessary for utility relocations and will be in place for approximately five weeks.
