Saturday, January 18, Mountain Metro Transit will start service on time, but on a limited “snow route” basis for routes that operating mostly on primary roads. These roads are the first to be treated and cleared by snow plows. The routes operating this morning are 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, 22, 25, 27, 33 (Ruxton detour in place), and THE ZEB downtown shuttle. All other routes will not be operating this morning. Metro Mobility riders need to call in advance to make sure their trip can be operated today. We are hopeful that later today when the secondary roads are treated, we will be able to start service on all of our other routes. There could still be detours and delays with our snow routes due to slow traffic, so please be prepared and check My Next Bus before heading out.
11 a.m. update - In addition to the previously opened snow routes, Routes 2, 12, 15, 19, 39, 20, 32, and 34 will start operations immediately. We are hoping to have route 35 and 37 running by noon. Routes 8, 16, 18, 23, and 24, remain closed. We will continue to update as we are able to add more service.
